Facilities

The UHH CS department occupies 2 labs, 2 classrooms, a staff/server room shared with UHH Academic Computing Services and several nearby faculty offices. A fully switched and firewalled 100 Mb Ethernet network links all CS machines with a 10 Mb campus LAN uplink and a T-3 level Internet connection through UH Manoa. A half-dozen servers provide file service and compute cycles to the workstations in the labs and offices. Servers are hefty Intel dual-processor machines running Linux or Windows 2000.
